It's hard to believe tre holidays are upon us again-already! Not sure where all the time has gone, but it seems like it was just last week that we were boxing up trees and placing rabbits everywhere in the shop! And now, we're decorating trees for customers, participating in the Orlando Museum of Arts Festival of Trees and Preparing for A Time of Gratitude Celebration.
If you've never been to the Festival of Trrees, it's an event you'll enjoy. Trees are donated and decorated by various vendors and are sold throughout the festival. Proceeds go to the Coumcil of 101 which supports the Orlando Museum of Art. Kim Coe's tree is beautiful and she has a few tickets to giveaway if you'd like to attend. Call the shop at 407-265-1881 to inquire. The festival runs through Sunday, November 19.This year our holiday open house A Time of Gratitude will occur on Thursday, November 16 from 5:30 PM to 8 PM. We will be collecting items for those who are less fortunate. If you bring a non-perishable food item such as cream of mushroom soup, green beans, canned sweet potatoes, canned cranberry sauce or mashed potato flakes, you'll receive a free gift. We'll also be hosting a light dinner and as always, everything in the store will be 20% off. Don't miss this wonderful event which will benefit others as much as it benefits you.
Finally, you've asked for it so we are trying it this year. From Friday, November 24 to Saturday, December 23 we will be extending our hours for the holidays. We will be open Monday through Saturday- 10 AM till 7 PM.
